Rachel Hein at her High schoold graduation in 2007

This is a letter I recieved from Amy, who lost her beloved sister Rachel… she is missed by so many…

My sisters dad, was in the US Navy and they traveled a little bit, my sisters favorite place to live was in Hawaii. When my sister was growing up she was active, She was in girl scouts and she loved ballet, Tap and Hulu when she was a little girl. My sister finished High School and continued her to plan to go to college to study Fashion and Marketing. even though she had decided to go to college for Fashion and Marketing I think she was also thinking about Marine biology, when living in Hawaii she got to swim with Dolphins. She had a lot of friends, and had the most beautiful smile. One thing about my sister having CF, was that she did not want people to feel bad for her, she wanted to be treated like a regular kid. She is missed by her parents Debbie and Russ, and her niece Gaby and nephews Marcus and Gaby. And of course I miss her and so does my husband. There is a saying that I saw, at a Kohls, and I have a picture of my sister in it and it reads “It is not the number of breathes you take, but the number moments that take your breath away”. That was my sister and I truly love her and miss her.”
