Here I am doing what I have always dreamed of doing!!! FLYING!!!

The other day I received a letter in the mail from my nana… I love getting letters from her and never know what to expect, usually newspaper articles about how to be safe!!! But this one was different, it was a poem… a poem a friend of hers wrote shortly after my diagnosis… I wanted to share it with you:
Sarah’s Prayer
I said a prayer for Sarah today
And know God must have heard
I felt the answer in my heart
Although he spoke no word…
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame
I know Sarah wouldn’t mind
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He be near you Sarah,
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings,
And friends to share your way.
I asked for Happiness for you,
In all things great and small,
But is was for His loving care,
I prayed for you most of all…

This was written by my Grammy’s friend, Hazel, nearly 30 some odd years ago… I know she is smiling down from Heaven as she watches me live me life with all of His blessings…
