  • I am currently on the VX-770 study for CF mutation G551D. Technically I do not know if I am taking the drug or placebo. However, I will say it is truly amazing how I feel!! No sweat crystals, no antibiotics in 6 weeks, no coughing, etc., etc. I am on the 3rd trial and the drug will be out in 2-4 years. Pls keep pushing this topic b/c this is a miracle for CFers with this muation. I feel so great I will be running a half marathon on the 65 Roses team!!   • Loved you email, my young son is on the 770 as well. He has been healthy the last 2 years, so we do not have the increase in health to let us know if we are on the placebo or not. Have you ever opened a pill and tasted it, if so, how did it taste?
